Se-Won was born in a small town called Santa Rosa, California, and now lives in Irmo, South Carolina. His nationality is half Japanese and half Caucasian. Many of his friends call him by his nickname, "Swanny", which explains his art name.  Along with the visual arts, his other interests include web design, singing, dancing, sports, and has an addiction to the high-tech electronic world.

      Originally practicing in the art of pencil portraiture, Se-Won has now expanded his horizons to the world of paints, having his works displayed in hundreds of homes from all around the world, and expanding rapidly.  He works to portray the beauty of the world in every way the imagination allows.
